  • 1 lime
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 5 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Thai Chili Powder
  • 1 large shallot, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemongrass, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha chili sauce
  • 1 1/2 cupscoleslow
  • 4 sesame hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • To start, shred the lime peel while saving the lime and put it to the side.
  • Combine the lime peel, pork, bacon, soy sauce, shallot, cilantro, lemongrass, ginger, garlic, and 1 teaspoon of Thai chili powder. Mix well in bowl.
  • Next use the mixture to create burger patties. Try to make the patties between 3/4 of an inch to 1 inch thick.
  • Grill the patties for 10 to 12 minutes. The internal temperature should be around 160 degrees.
  • Take the lime you put to the side, and add half the juice into a small bowl. Add the mayo, sriracha, and remaining Thai chili powder. Stir all ingredients.
  • Next add the coleslaw to mixture. Stir again.
  • Take the cooked burgers, add the mayo and coleslaw mixture on top, and enjoy your delicious Thai Pork Burger.
